Breeders' Symposium Set for Cornell University Baker Institute for Animal Health [Thursday, February 18, 2010]

The Canine Health Foundation announces that a canine breeders' symposium will be presented by the American Kennel Club and Canine Health Foundation March 13, 2010, at Cornell University Baker Institute for Animal Health in Ithaca, New York. Targeted for novice and expert breeders alike, the Breeders' Symposium is an ideal venue in which to learn about sound breeding practices and the advances in genetic health tests that lead to healthier dogs.

Topics include orthopedics with Dr. Rory Todhunter, reproduction with Dr. Vicki Meyers-Wallen, canine cardiology with Dr. N. Sydney Moise, neurology with Dr. Curtis Dewey and others.

The cost of attendance is $95.00 or $200 for those needing continuing education credits. Check-in opens Saturday at 7:30 AM. This course is eligible for continuing education and clock hours units for veterinarians and vet techs.
